Mott’s and The Wiggles Tour Ties with Retail Promos

Mott’s has partnered with preschool band, The Wiggles, to sponsor a concert tour and retail promotions.

Mott’s will sponsor the 2005 concert tour, The Wiggles Live in Concert Welcomed by Mott’s, in the U.S. and Canada.

The Wiggles CD free with the purchase of any two Mott’s products. In August, another promotion, Snack in the Best Seat in the House, features The Wiggles sweepstakes offer for a chance to win a VIP family four-pack of tickets to an upcoming concert, also promoted at P-O-P. Another component offers The Wiggles “Snack Time” chair with the purchase of two of Mott’s branded applesauce or apple juice products.

The tour hits 48 cities with more than 140 performances. Mott’s will be at every concert with samples supported by radio in local markets. Some 81,250 sampling bags will be distributed, each containing a Motts applesauce, Mott’s apple juice and a straw-spoon along with a coloring page. The first show kicks off in Las Vegas April 6 with stops in Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington as well as British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. In August and November a new show will be introduced.

The Wiggles are an Australian-based musical foursome that debuted in 1999. Their albums have achieved gold, platinum and double platinum status in Australia; the group got their first U.S. gold album for their CD
Yummy Yummy in 2004.
