Jack in the Box Launches Instant-Win Game

Jack in the Box, Inc. is out with a new instant-win game targeting fast food eaters and their desire to win cool prizes.

The Win Jack’s Stuff game offers consumers a one-in-two chance of earning top prizes, including a win a Kawasaki jet ski, gift cards or free airfare for ordering a medium or large combo meal. To play, patrons peel off a game piece attached to the side of a medium or large drink cup to learn if they are a winner. Promotional partners supporting the game include Southwest Airlines, American Express, Nintendo and Musicmatch.

“The promotion is intended to reward loyal Jack in the Box customers and drive combo sales in our restaurants,” said Brian Luscomb, a spokesperson for Jack in the Box, Inc. “We are looking to appeal to those hip to gaming and eating fast food.”

The San Diego-based chain operates more than 2,000 restaurants in 17 states.

As a bonus, customers who buy a large combo meal automatically receive one free music download from Musicmatch.

The instant-win game, available at participating restaurants, will award 3,559 prizes and more than 10.7 million Jack in the Box food prizes. The game’s top prizes include an American Express branded gift card worth $10,000, a year’s worth of travel from Southwest Airlines, a Kawasaki jet ski and two Kawasaki motorcycles. Lesser prizes include Jack cash cards, Musicmatch certificates and the Nintendo DS gaming system and prize pack.

TV, radio and Internet ads support the instant-win game, which targets consumers 18 to 49. The game is open to consumers 18 and older and runs through May 30.
