Hotels.com is out with a host of incentives to entice travelers to book hotel rooms through its services.

The Hotels for Life sweepstakes, which runs through Aug. 28, offers the chance to win the grand prize—two guests to stay at a three star hotel for six nights once a year for 25 years—an approximately $25,000 value. Consumers can enter at Hotels.com/sweepstakes.

The on-and offline hotel booking service, is also giving away a $25 prepaid Visa card every hour, 24 hours a day, throughout the sweepstakes period. Each registrant gets one entry into the sweepstakes and can they play an instant-win trivia game for a chance at a $25 prepaid Visa card. The online trivia game asks three questions from one of four categories. If answered correctly, the players earns “keys” to unlock a virtual hotel room door, for the chance to win the $25 Visa card. Visitors can play the instant-win game once a day through Aug. 28. Game categories include TV/movies, sports/entertainment, landmarks and nicknames/mottos.

A viral component lets players earn additional chances to win the grand prize by forwarding the sweepstakes information message to friends. One additional grand-prize entry is earned for each valid e-mail forwarded, the company said.

Hotels.com offers reservation services at more than 70,000 properties worldwide through its own Web sites (including Hotels.com and others), its interactive affiliate network (IAN.com), and its toll-free call centers (1-800-2-HOTELS).
