Subway, 4-Kids Team Up for Ninja Turtles Promo, Sweeps

Subway Restaurants and 4-Kids Entertainment, Inc. have teamed up to launch a new promotion featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, including a watch-and-win element of the popular cartoon for a chance to win $4,000.

The restaurant chain will feature the action-oriented
Turtle characters as toy premiums with the purchase of Subway Restaurant’s Kids’ Pak meals. Each character reflects the chain’s goal to help children “Eat Fresh, Have Fun, Get Fit”, encouraging kids to stay active with their favorite
Turtle.

Each Kids’ Pak will include one of four premiums: Donatello’s Kickin’ Ninja Kite, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dual Disc Launcher, Michelangelo’s Shell Squirter and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Extreme Sports Bottle.

The seven-week promotion runs through March 27.

In addition, each premium will include a “Watch & Win” component inviting consumers 17 and under to enter the TMNT Secret Code Sweepstakes.

To enter, participants must collect the first half of the TMNT secret code found in kids’ meals at participating Subway Restaurants or by clicking on the TMNT Secret Code Sweepstakes icon at 4Kids.com. Consumers then must tune in to the 4Kids Network weekend programming block during the sweepstakes period to receive the second half of the secret code. The secret code will be revealed during the end credits of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode.

One grand-prize winner will receive $4,000; seven first-prize winners will receive a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gift bag containing brand merchandise worth more than $150. The sweepstakes runs through March 27. Winners will be selected through a random drawing on April 9.
