Samsung Leveraging Sponsorship of B.B. King Tour

Samsung Electronics is leveraging its sponsorship of B.B. King’s 80th Birthday Tour with a sweepstakes that will be held in each market where the legendary bluesman performs.

The Samsung DuoCam Sweepstakes will travel with the B.B. King Blues Festival and visit 28 cities until his Dec. 19 show in Minneapolis. The tour and sweepstakes kicked off Aug. 3 in San Diego.

In each market, a winner and a guest will go backstage after the show to meet B.B. King and record their meet and greet with their new Samsung SC-D6550 DuoCam.

The sweepstakes will also award an overall grand prize of a Samsung 32″ LCD TV and a Samsung DVD-HD50 DVD Player, two first prizes of a Samsung MiniDV Camcorder, and three second prizes of a Samsung MP3 Player.

The sweepstakes is being promoted in each market prior to the concert dates, with radio stations airing exclusive promotions for the Samsung SC-D6550 DuoCam and a $75 mail-in-rebate. Listeners will be directed to as many as three retail stores per market and to Samsung.com for a chance to win both B.B. King and Samsung prizes.
