Nerf Brings Hoop to Youngsters with Sweeps

Hasbro, Inc.’s Nerf brand is bringing basketball to life through an online sweepstakes offering one young fan a trip to St. Louis to see a Harlem Globetrotters game and attend other basketball-related event.

Nerf offers sweepstakes
for hoop fanatics

The “Ultimate NERFOOP Weekend Madness” sweepstakes invites consumers between six and 18 to register for the online contest at
Nerf.com. The grand-prize winner will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to see the Harlem Globetrotters vs. the National Association of Basketball Coaches College All-Stars on April 1. In addition, the winner will receive tickets to two other basketball games featuring NABC alumni and participate in a personal basketball clinic with Hall of Fame coach Danny Crum.

Hasbro will award 25 first prizes of the Nerf Nite Jam Nerfoop, a game that allows kids to play basketball in the light or dark with a light-up basketball and basketball rim.

The sweepstakes runs through March 15. Winners will be chosen in a random drawing on March 16. Online materials support.
