Google, Salesforce.com Jointly Market Offerings

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Google and Salesforce.com, a customer relationship technology firm, have linked up to combine search engine results with prospect management technology. The first offering under the new working relationship is Salesforce Group Edition featuring Google AdWords.

Using Salesforce Group Edition featuring Google AdWords, marketers will be able to:

  • Have their ad appear with the relevant search results, whether on Google.com or across the Google AdSense network. Visitors clicking on the ad can be taken to their Web site.
  • Capture leads by having visitors fill out a name capture form on their site, such as through an offer for a Webinar or white paper. The information collected on the form flows directly into Salesforce as a new lead.
  • Automatically have leads distributed to the sales team. The system also allows businesses to track opportunities through the sales cycle. Sales teams can manage all customer interactions.
  • Analyze growth through dashboards that give companies a view into lead generation, sales metrics, and company growth. Dashboards and reports provide real-time information and allow companies to modify campaigns on the fly.
