Fujifilm Clicks on Summer Game

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Fujifilm USA is running a summer game with a slate of travel prizes in an effort to boost digital printing and sampling of its new QuickSnap 1000 disposable camera.

The Easy to Print, Easy to Win game runs in chain and indy photo shops, as well as supermarkets and drugstores.

Shoppers who bring in digital photos for printing get an instant-win game piece in the packet of finished prints. Players take the game piece to FujiFilmUSA.com/print2win to reveal an instant-win message. There are five grand-prize family trips to Cancun, Mexico, from promo partner Funjet Vacations. First prize (25 winners) is a Fujifilm digital camera; 100 second-prize winners get a copy of Frommer’s 500 Places to Take Your Kids Before They Grow Up and a QuickSnap 1000 one-time use camera. Lesser prizes include free photo prints, greeting cards and calendars.

The game runs through Sept. 30; participating retailers include Long’s Drugs, Ritz Camera Centers, Best Buy Image Lab Stores, King Soopers and City Markets. Heavy P-O-P support drives awareness for the game, and sends shoppers online to get game codes without buying prints in-store. GEM Group, New York, handles for Valhalla, NY-based Fujifilm.
