Ditech.com Leverages NASCAR Sponsorship With Sweepstakes

Direct mortgage lender Ditech.com is leveraging its NASCAR sponsorship with a sweepstakes that dangles a $50,000 room remodel as the grand prize.

Race fans and home decorating enthusiasts can enter the Ultimate Racing Room Challenge at Ditechracing.com.

Consumers create their own Ultimate Racing Room to view races and submit their entry and a short description for consideration by a judging panel. Entrants are also automatically entered in a weekly sweepstakes to win an autographed die-cast replica of Brian Vickers’ NASCAR Nextel Cup No. 25 GMAC/ditech.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Indianapolis-based motorsports agency Just Marketing, Inc. is charged with managing the promotion, which runs through May 31. The sweeps is being promoted with ads on Web sites of Vickers’ sponsors.

Mike McCarthy, general manager of ditech.com, said the sweeps ran last year as well, and that it drew more than 100,000 existing and potential customers to the company’s Web site.

The Ultimate Racing Room II features a new online room-building tool making it easier to create a room to view the races, and more customization features. Each week, ditechracing.com will also feature personal Ultimate Racing Rooms by Brian Vickers, Jeff Gordon and other Hendrick Motorsports drivers. Racing fans can also visit the website for exclusive downloads of Brian Vickers and the No. 25 GMAC/ditech.com Chevrolet.
