CoolBrands, Godiva Will Always Have Paris

New Yorkers get a taste of Godiva Ice Cream Bars this week in a sampling and sweepstakes campaign set under the Eiffel Tower.

CoolBrands International launches Godiva Ice Cream Bars with a Godiva Dreams online sweeps dangling a trip to Paris for a $25,000 shopping spree. Consumers enter at GodivaDivaDreams.com; five first-prize winners get $1,000 in “diva dollars” (via Visa Check Card) and 100 second-prize winners get a year’s supply of Godiva Ice Cream. The sweeps runs through Sept. 15 via Mercury Promotions & Fulfillment and emarketing, Inc.

Meanwhile, Ronkonkoma, NY-based CoolBrands tomorrow will erect a model of the Eiffel Tower—made of ice cream sticks and pint containers—in Manhattan’s Union Square Park and send street teams of butlers to distribute sample ice cream bars. CoolBrands drafted Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture to build the tower.

Godiva Ice Cream Bars (in two flavors, White Chocolate Raspberry and Belgian Dark Chocolate) extend its 10-flavor line of Godiva Ice Cream in pints. Four of the flavors are new: Belgian Dark Chocolate with Mint, Vanilla Black Raspberry, Cappuccino with Chocolate Hearts, and Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Praline.
