The Hacker-Pschorr Weisse Squad (that’s pronounced vice squad) raided Chicago pubs last month to keep beer drinkers on the straight and narrow.

The squad, a team of women in fake police uniforms with whistles, handcuffs, and batons, hit bars over a two-week period to find people who weren’t drinking Hacker-Pschorr beer. Violators were issued summonses for failing to break away from “the big-brother like hold” of major breweries. The “tickets” offered rebates on cases of Hacker-Pschorr Biers, imported by Paulaner North America, Englewood, CO. Schafer Condon Carter, Chicago, handled.
