Constant Contact Unveils Event-Marketing Tool

Constant Contact yesterday announced Constant Contact Event Marketing, a service the e-mail marketing software-on-demand provider claims will help small businesses and organizations professionally promote and manage registrations and RSVPs for their events.

Small businesses, associations, and non-profits can use Constant Contact Event Marketing to manage event promotion, communicate with invitees and registrants, and capture and track registrations and payments – all in a single tool, Constant Contact said in a statement.

According to Constant Contact, organizations can use Event Marketing to promote their events with an easy-to-create homepage, e-mail invitations, online calendar, and an event link that can be included on any website, blog or social network.

The service also allows the customer to send professional-looking communications such as reminders, updates, and thank you confirmations to registrants, according to Constant Contact.

The service also offers a ready-made registration form, or customers can customize their own forms to capture more data from registrants, according to Constant Contact.

Event Marketing also enables credit card processing via PayPal to make it easier and faster for small organizations to manage registrations and payment.

The service also allows event hosts to track registration, payment, attendance and other information about their events, according to Constant Contact.
