SUPERVALU, INC.: has signed on as a national supporter of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women cause to help teach women about the risk factors for heart disease and to urge them to take action to reduce their personal risk. The retail chain plans to raise awareness among its customers and to engage its 190,000 associates in support of Go Red For Women, including in-store promotions, advertising, and events. Stores will also display featured products that fit into a heart-healthy lifestyle, as well as other Go Red For Women information. Activities are expected to begin in early 2009. The sponsorship runs through 2011.

ZIZZLE ELECTRONICS: has teamed up with online movie ticket-seller Fandango.com to offer a gift with purchase to drive ticket sales around the upcoming release of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year. People who buy four or more advance tickets for the film on http://www.Fandango.com will receive a free Zizzle Rockin’ Sing’Along Microphone, while supplies last. The electronic microphone plays two songs from the “High School Musical 3” soundtrack: “Can I Have This Dance?” and “High School Musical.” Moviegoers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win other movie-themed toys from Zizzle. The promotion is supported by online and TV advertising as well as an email blast and additional PR efforts. “High School Musical 3” hits theaters Oct. 24.
