AMERICAN PROFILE MAGAZINE: is bringing its cookbook to retail after selling 40,000 copies on QVC home-shopping network. American Profile Hometown Cookbook is the fifth in a series (but the first to hit retail shelves) from American Profile, an eight million-circulation magazine inserted in Sunday newspapers in rural C and D counties nationally. All the recipes were submitted by American Profile readers. Publishing Group of America, Franklin, TN, publishes American Profile; Rutledge Hill Press publishes the cookbook.
