Great American Cookie Looking for Sweet Tweets
Fans of Great American Cookie’s signature Double Doozie creation can express their love and get some American Express loot to boot in the cookie franchise’s “Ooey, Gooey Double Doozie” Twitter sweepstakes.
The contest, which launched on February 15, asks players to become followers of Great American Cookies’ Twitter page. Once enrolled there, they can tweet using the special hashtag #doubledoozie to be entered into a weekly drawing for a $100 American Express Gift Card.
Drawings will take place every week until April 4. Participants must enter via Twitter once a week to take part in each drawing but cannot enter more than once.
At press time, the company had 673 followers on its Twitter profile page, which directs players to GAC’s Facebook page to find sweepstakes rules. On that social page Great American Cookies currently has 5,555 fans.
The Double Doozie, a sandwich of two cookies studded with candy pieces wrapped around a filling of white icing, is described as “one of the company’s most decadent offerings.”
