eWayDirect Unveils Reengagement Tool

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

eWayDirect has developed marketing technology designed to drive sales from customers who abandon e-commerce Websites without making a purchase, the e-mail service provider recently announced.

The company claims the tool’s follow-up “Web site reengagement” e-mails generate up to 10 times more sales than regular e-mail campaign messages and open rates consistently higher than 50%.

Using Web site reengagement technology, eWayDirect’s customers can identify customers and e-mail subscribers each time they visit and automatically send follow-up emails to opt-in subscribers who fail to make a purchase, the company said in a release.

Reengagement messages can be customized based on the specific Web pages visited, according to eWayDirect.

“Giving up on a Web site visitor who has not purchased makes no sense. That visitor was on the site for a reason and may simply need a bit more encouragement,” said Marty Donner, chief revenue officer at eWayDirect.

eWayDirect’s Web site reengagement technology is available immediately, according to the company.
