Cetaphil Viral Campaign Rewards Prolific Sharers
Cetaphil, the maker of cleansers and moisturizers for women, has launched a new campaign, and with it, an interactive contest.
The campaign, “Comfortable in My Skin” plays up the benefits and utility of Cetaphil products.
The contest asks entrants to explain where and what makes them feel the most comfortable in their skin by completing the sentence, “I feel comfortable in my skin when I am…”
And to generate some excitement for the grand prize, players choose a Kate Spade getaway bag and then load it up with Cetaphil products and other items that they would like to take on a vacation to the Caribbean or Mexico.
A major focus of the campaign is to get players to share their content virally. People can create the content and then share their entries through e-mail, widgets, blogs, IM and other social media venues.
The campaign is judged in two rounds. In the first, prizes will be given to the top ten finalists who will then advance to round two and to the five most viral winners and to eight sweepstakes winners. Round 2 begins Aug. 27 and ends Oct. 8.
The grand-prize winner, selected by a panel of judges from Cetaphil, will receive a seven day, four person getaway to a Marriott & Renaissance Caribbean & Mexico Resort destination of his or her choice, a Kate Spade bag and $500 American Express gift card to purchase the getaway items they chose.
