Beyond the Fridge Door

Magnets are not just for metallic kitchen appliances anymore. The Magic Wall is a board made of oak tag with a steel insertion that can be printed with any image, die cut to a desired shape, and fitted with grommets or adhesive strips for hanging. The board allows easy write-on and wipe-off with a dry marker. The magnets let you present different – and removable – messages. Fox Kids Network made a TV set calendar featuring magnetized characters from its various programs, which helped viewers track show times. Manufacturer Kling, Chatham, NY, supplies customized items in two to four weeks at a price of 70 cents for each board-and-magnet system. Call Betsy Ferris Hague at 518-392-4000.
