BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Oct. 7, 2010) – RoofTop Confessions, the first reality series made for mobile devices, has reached the top 10 spot in the Canadian App Store of iTunes.. With apps that rank among the most popular in the entertainment category of iTunes, the series is set to continue its rare, insightful looks at the underbelly of life while taking advantage of the shifting media-consumption habits of consumers.

The company understands and embraces the fact that people are switching out traditional forms of entertainment like the television for ground-breaking ones like the iPad. RoofTop Confessions is the first multi-platform series to successfully leverage this trend into an innovative and unique form of reality entertainment that viewers can enjoy anywhere at any time, whether it’s on a computer screen, television screen or via apps for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. An app for Android devices is set to be unveiled in the near future.

Besides garnering high praise from its many fans, RoofTop Confessions has earned the admiration of big industry movers, including 2waytraffic, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment. 2waytraffic handles the distribution of RoofTop Confessions to countries like Australia, South Africa and the U.K.

RoofTop Confessions comprises a series of more than 400 videos that enable viewers to indulge their inner-voyeur by watching the intimate, humorous and outrageous confessions of ordinary people sharing their life experiences. All of these stories are woven together to offer a portrait of the human story.

What started as a pet project on a rooftop in Brooklyn, N.Y., has swelled into a global phenomenon that has visited The Dinah (an all-female festival held in Palm Springs, Calif.) and the annual Halloween Parade in New York City. The fourth season of RoofTop Confessions will be shot from spring break in Panama City, Fla.

The goal was to create the first user-generated, made-for-mobile reality series. After three successful seasons, RoofTop Confessions is aiming to continue its run by expanding markets, entering new distribution channels and producing more of the engaging content that has fueled its success up until now. Whatever devices consumers are using, RoofTop Confessions will be right there with them.
