PC Mall’s Fortunes Up, Future Expectations Bright

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

PC Mall generated $263 million during its second quarter, up from $234.1 million in second quarter 2006. The company’s net income rose from $395,000 to $3 million during the same period. The quarter ended June 30.

A healthy portion of the gain came from PC Mall’s September 2006 of GMRI. That acquisition also bodes well for the company’s third quarter, as GMRI has deep roots within the government, and the third quarter is typically a strong one for B2G sales. Additionally, the pending release of Apple’s OS X Leopard may create other sales gains for the firm.

PC Mall sells technology to businesses, government, and consumers through catalogs, Web sites and direct sales staff. The company is based in Torrance, CA.
