Rapp Collins Creates Global Post for Von Kennel

Rapp Collins Worldwide revamped its top management to bring global scope that could jumpstart growth at the direct-marketing agency.

Gary Von Kennel has been promoted to global CEO, a new post; he had been chairman-CEO of Rapp Collins Worldwide North America. Von Kennel will oversee the agency’s 60 offices across 30 countries, working from Rapp Collins’ New York headquarters.

Robert Horvath replaces Von Kennel as chairman-CEO for North America; he had been president-North America. Horvath is credited with boosting revenue and launching new services at the Omnicom-owned agency.

Michael Sugzda takes the president-North America post, joining Rapp Collins from Wunderman, New York. He will oversee new-business development.

“Rapp Collins is uniquely qualified to lead companies into an era of more accountable marketing,” Horvath said in a statement. “Our proven expertise in customer acquisition, retention and optimization helps clients build more profitable customer relationships.”
