Malone Advertising creates independent, tech-driven specialist agency
Tech-specialty agency MaloneZeris — a combination of former Malone Advertising business units Malone2 Business To Business and Zeris Interactive — launched in March with a cadre of clients, 20 employees, and capitalized billings of $19 million.
“Web-based and conventional marketing communications tactics are converging for our business-to-business clients. The combination of our Zeris Interactive Division and Malone2 will allow us to deliver seamless strategic solutions to our clients,” says Fred Bidwell, president, Malone Advertising. “Traditional sales, marketing, communications and advertising approaches are no longer the best, or most effective, way to reach today’s increasingly elusive business prospect.” He says the MaloneZeris team will use a strategic combination of new online and offline technologies with non-traditional approaches. “There’s no question in my mind that what has long been ‘traditional’ in business marketing no longer fits the time-sensitive, information gathering needs of technology savvy prospects.”
Headed by Troy Walker, MaloneZeris LLC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Malone Advertising and will serve North American clients from its Akron, Ohio headquarters. Current clients include MTD Products, Argo-Tech Corporation, Parker Hannifin, Pechiney, Interlake Material Handling, Amweld Building Products, Piper Aircraft, Pella, Crane Products, Glass Equipment Development, Austin Powder and Voss Industries. Walker was president of Zeris Interactive, which was acquired by Malone in 2000.
Malone Advertising, with 90 employees, has offices in Columbus, Ohio; Philadelphia; Los Angeles; and Charlotte and Raleigh, NC.
