Hallmark Channel Names Carsia to Marketing Post

Hallmark Channel has hired Allie Carsia as director of marketing for the network and for its movie channel.

In her new role, Carsia oversees the development and execution of affiliate trade ads, direct mail, e-mail programs and the network’s affiliate Web sites. In addition, Carsia works with the firm’s network distribution and service division to create affiliate sales materials, the company said.

Carsia works alongside Anthony White, Hallmark Channel’s vice president of marketing, and Laura Masse, senior vice president of marketing, to implement consumer media plans and develop the networks’ trade show strategies. The post took effect Nov. 7.

Before moving to Hallmark, Carsia worked at Reed Television Group as regional sales manager where she oversaw all West Coast account activities and advertising revenue for Multichannel News and Broadcasting & Cable magazines.
