Comedy Central Taps Risafi to Expanded Marketing Post

Comedy Central has promoted Peter Risafi to the newly created postion of senior vice president, brand marketing/executive creative director.

In his new role, Risafi handles creative and strategic marketing, including consumer, ads trade and affiliate marketing, network brand strategy and creative positioning and digital assets. He also oversees all network-related consumer products and special events efforts.

Risafi works out of the company’s New York headquarters. The new post took effect Nov. 7.

Most recently, he worked as senior vice president/creative director for Comedy Central brand creative where he oversaw all on- and off-air promotion and advertising creative for the network.

Prior to joining Comedy Central, Risafi worked as executive producer and creative director for Disney/ABC Cable Networks’ SoapNet.
