video-camera-300For B2B marketers, video is becoming more than just a way to engage prospects in social channels. It has become a—if not the—preferred medium for content-hungry buyers, and a vital tool for generating leads and converting them to paid customers.

Join us on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 2 pm EST for a free webinar, “10 Proven Ways to Use Video to Generate More Leads.” Jon Spenceley, marketing manager of Vidyard, will share ways for B2B marketers to use video content and viewing data to generate more leads, speed up funnel velocity and improve the results of email and demand gen programs.

Video can quickly establish relevance and urgency for a brand, and drive a prospect to the next stage in their buying journey. Thought leadership interview videos can be reused in numerous ways via social channels and are a great asset for sales prospecting. And, pre- and post-event videos can drive awareness and registration, and then continue the interaction after the event.

Vidyard practices what it preaches. The company won an IM+T Award last year for a campaign it did for its own brand, to generate new leads and drive downloads of content assets to help qualify the interest of website visitors. The “12 Days” campaign featured a microsite where visitors were greeted with a personalized video and encouraged to “open gifts” that moved them through the site.

“Companies are investing more in video and it is becoming part of their core strategy, because you can communicate complex ideas in a simple way,” said Michael Litt, CEO of Vidyard, in an interview with Chief Marketer last year.
