Pinterest Ads Are Unleashed Into the Wild

Pinterest logoBack in mid-September, Pinterest told the world that it would start experimenting with promoted pins from a select group of businesses. On Wednesday, the company updated that announcement by declaring that it began testing promoted pins in search results and category feeds on the Web and in its mobile apps. These promoted pins will be labeled as such and display a link that leads to a page where users can learn more about promoted content on Pinterest.
