Travelocity Europe will acquire travelchannel.de, a German online travel site, for an undisclosed sum.
With the acquisition, the online travel service broadens its distribution in Germany and its position in Europe as a whole.
“Travelocity’s expansion in Europe is a high priority for us and the acquisition of travelchannel.de will play a key role in accelerating our growth in Germany and beyond,” said Michelle Peluso, CEO of the Southlake, TX-based Travelocity in a statement.
