BIC Corp. plans to promote its Soleil triple-blade razor for women with a pair of sweepstakes that will send grand-prize winners to meet the Radio City Rockettes.
The first contest, “Girls Night Out in New York City,” will kick off with freestanding inserts supporting the promotion on Aug. 8. The grand-prize winner and three of her friends will win a trip to New York to meet and have dinner with members of the Rockettes.
The second sweepstakes is being planned for the fall, and the grand prize is a trip for four to New York that includes a meeting with the Rockettes and VIP tickets to attend the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
Both contests will be supported with freestanding inserts, on-package promotions and in-store P-O-Ps, BIC spokesperson Jill Klimack said.
BIC is wrapping up a sweepstakes promoting its Comfort 3 line, with a grand prize that includes a trip for two to Athens to watch USA Swimming compete in three events during the Summer Games. BIC is the official shaver of the swim team.
