Alcone Expands Chicago Office

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Alcone Marketing Group has named Kevin Kleber creative director for its new Chicago office.

Alcone plans to hire another two or three staffers for the office.

Kleber had been associate creative director in Alcone’s Darien, CT office. He will move to Chicago by yearend.

Account director Margaret Naughton runs the Chicago office, which opened in August to serve long-time client BelBrands USA and new client ConAgra Foods. BelBrands recently relocated its headquarters to Elk Grove Village, IL. ConAgra hired Alcone this fall to handle some of its grocery brands, based in Naperville, IL.

“Our first goal was to establish a beach head in Chicago and work the creative out of Connecticut,” Alcone president Bill Hahn said. “Now we’re seeing [a strong] market response to us being there, so we think it’s a place to spend significant effort.”

Alcone ranked No. 21 in the 2006 PROMO 100 with estimated net revenues of $48.5 million for 2005, up an estimated 37% from 2003.
