Wrapped up in Trivia

M&M/Mars’s Snickers brand has unwrapped its You Don’t Know Jack promo, providing fun sports trivia questions inside the wrappers of 100 million Snickers bars. The promotion will run through May 30 and will be communicated via packaging, in-store merchandising, and online promotions.

Berkeley Systems, Inc., Berkeley, CA, provides the trivia, which combines classic sports factoids with pop-culture references in a humorous, brain-twisting mixture that is challenging and entertaining.

Snickers’ 3.7-ounce bar, nicknamed The Big One, will be packed with the sports queries over the next eight months. In addition to the trivia questions, each wrapper will include the URL bezerk.com/snickers that will send consumers to the home of You Don’t Know Jack Sports the net show, the online version of the CD-ROM trivia game.

Created in partnership with Jellyvision of Chicago, the CD-ROM version of the game was released in 1996 and contains more than 800 adrenaline-pumping questions on everything from baseball to water polo.
