Tim Duncan’s Wheaties Box was unveiled at a San Antonio Spurs game |
Wheaties said it is honoring Duncan for being just the second player in league history to be named to both an All-NBA Team and All-Defensive Team in each of his first seven NBA seasons.
“To appear on the box of Wheaties is exciting,” Duncan said in a statement. “I am pleased that Wheaties selected me to help them continue to build on their outstanding sports legacy.”
It is Duncan’s first solo appearance on a Wheaties box. He and his teammates made an appearance on a box after winning that 2003 NBA Championship.
