UAL Corp., the parent company of United Airlines, has named Robert Sahadevan managing director of its Mileage Plus program. Sahadevan had most recently been the company’s managing director of investor relations. He joined UAL as senior vice president of Mileage Plus for UAL Loyalty Services.
In his new position, he will have profit and loss responsibility for the organization, and will report to Dennis Cary, senior vice president of marketing. Mileage Plus is an $800 million concern with 45 million enrolled members.
Separately, Kathryn Mikells was been named vice president of investor relations.
