Pizza Hut Adds Games to the Menu

This month at Pizza Hut customers can play games from Patch Products before, during or after they eat.

Malarky and Buzzword games will be touted on table tents at Pizza Huts’ 1,300 dine-in locations across the country. The tents include 25 Malarky and 25 Buzzword cards for play.

In Malarky, one player gets the real answer to a question like, “Why are tennis balls fuzzy?” while the other players try to make up an answer.

Buzzword plays one team against the other to solve 10 clues in 45 seconds to get the right answer.

And while franchise owners have reported that customers must be liking the games since they are disappearing off the tables, Patch Products hopes they’ll head to the store as well to pick up the games.

“We hope that it will help our Christmas sales, that people will play the game at Pizza Hut and then go out and buy the full-sized game for a holiday gift,” said Patch Products spokesperson Lisa Wuennemann.
