Procter & Gamble is adding new beverages and appliances to its Home Café beverage brewing system.
P&G adds Folgers Cappuccino and Skinny Vanilla Latte; Folgers Hazelnut and Millstone Hazelnut Cream Decaf; and four varieties of Lipton tea to its line of Home Café pods, with mocha and cocoa pods in the offing. Most hit supermarket and mass-merchandise shelves in September; Folgers Cappuccino pods sell now online at Homecafe.com.
Meanwhile, appliance makers Sunbeam Products (Mr. Coffee) and Krups are rolling Home Café appliances to supplement single-cup brewers that launched last year under Mr. Coffee and Black & Decker brands.
The Krups Home Café brews one or two cups (via separate pods, simultaneously); it sells for $120 in specialty and department stores. Sunbeam’s new Mr. Coffee can brew one or more cups at a time; it launches in September via mass-merchandise stores, for $80.
