Pet Ecology Scoops Up Prospects Via DM Campaign

Pet Ecology Brands Inc. recorded a number of new customers for its cat litter products through a direct response television test campaign, and a print media buy.

While the company did not disclose its marketing budget, it did run two different commercials for its Scoop-Lite Cat Litter during May in three markets, including KRON-TV in San Francisco, KDOC-TV in Los Angeles, and KFWD-TV in Dallas/Ft. Worth. The inbound call center it used reported sales conversion rates of 67%, and upsell rates of 50%.
