PacifiCare Taps AAAZa for Asian Advertising

PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. has chosen Los Angeles-based AAAZa Inc. to handle its Asian American advertising account.

The budget is $850,000.

The campaign will include direct mail, Web banner ads, print and billboard in traditional Chinese characters as well as radio ads and TV spots in Mandarin and Cantonese.

“We were seeking a partnership with an advertising agency that will help us further articulate our focused commitment to the health care needs of Asian Americans,” said Howard Phanstiel, CEO of the Cypress.Ca-based PacifiCare.
