ERIC MOWER AND ASSOCIATES: has been hired by The Grove Park Inn & Spa, a historic inn located in Charlotte, NC, as its advertising agency of record. EMA will provide planning and execution for the inn’s advertising, special promotions and digital marketing strategies.
BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP: has appointed John Haugh to the newly created position of president and chief marketing and merchandising bear. The position took effect March 16. He will oversee the marketing, merchandising and strategic planning teams. Most recently, Haugh worked as president of It’s Sugar, LLC, a candy and confectionery retailer. He also worked for three years as president of Mars Retail Group where he led all retail business operations for Mars.
BFG: has hired Michael Kramer as senior vice president, client services, to head the agency’s Diageo business. He has more than 17 years of experience working in the beer, wine and spirits industry, most recently at US Concepts/mktg, where he was responsible for the creative concept development work on a number of wine and spirits brands.
