Newcastle Brown Ale Dangles Entertainment and Shopping in Sweeps

Newcastle Brown Ale is out with a sweepstakes offering up a home entertainment system and a Beverly Hills shopping spree.

The Best of Both Words sweeps, which begins Aug. 15 and ends Oct. 31, is being touted via in-store P-O-P and at NewcastleBrown.com.

The grand-prize winners gets the home entertainment center, which includes a 50-inch Pioneer Pure Vision Plasma TV, DVD 5.1 audio video system with NXT SurfaceSound Speaker technology and a Newcastle Brown Ale branded kegorator with a custom tap. Newcastle plans to deliver the package in time for the Super Bowl Game in January 2006.

As part of the prize, a cleaning service will be sent in to clean up after the football party. And, during the party, the winner’s “significant other” will get whisked away on a shopping spree to Beverly Hill with $1,500 to spend.

Secondary prizes include DVD systems, $150 Best Buy gift certificates, $50 Bath & Body Works gift certificates and branded T-shirts.
