NBA kicks off All-Star balloting Nov. 13 with returning partners Sprite, America Online, Champs Sports, Reebok and 989 Sports. Fans can get ballots online, download them via Verizon Wireless, or at retail in 2,100 Foot Locker and Champs stores, 600-plus Circuit City stores and 150 Loews Cineplex theatres. Sprite sponsors in-arena voting areas.
Fans who vote get $10 off a Foot Locker purchase of $50 or more; $5 off 989 Sports’ new electronic game “NBA ShootOut 2004” at Circuit City; and free popcorn with the purchase of Sprite or other Coca-Cola drink in theatres. A sweeps in the U.S. and Canada will award a trip to the game and NBA Merchandise. The NBA handles promos in-house.
