Chiquita Brands International last month named Michel Loeb president of Chiquita Fresh Group—Europe.
Most recently Loeb, 49, worked for S.C. Johnson and Son as the managing director in the U.K. and marketing director for Europe, Africa and Near East. He had been with the firm for 15 years, mainly in senior marketing and brand management positions.
Loeb will be based in Antwerp, Belgium and will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations in Europe.
Loeb’s experience in developing new products will be used to launch new fruit-based products, the company said.
