MasterCard International’s VP-global sponsorships Bob Cramer has joined Genesco Sports Enterprises, and will serve as president of the sports marketing consultancy, a newly formed position.
Cramer will work out of Genesco’s New York office and will oversee the formation of the company’s strategic alliance and growth plan. He will also be part of the company’s senior management team.
Cramer had managed MasterCard’s global sponsorship assets, which have included strategic alliances with FIFA, Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, PGA Tour, the MasterCard Alamo Bowl, Universal Studios and theme parks and more than 25 National Football League teams. He is credited with helping to create MasterCard’s integrated marketing programs that supported the MLB All-Century Team in 1999 and the MLB Memorable Moments campaign in 2002. Cramer had been with MasterCard since 1996.
