The Marketing Arm has hired Bryon Morrison as president of its wireless marketing agency, ipsh.
Morrison, who joined ipsh on June 12, replaces the agency’s co-founder, Ninhal Mehta, who leaves the shop this week to start a new business.
Morrison had been vice president of sales and marketing at Javelin Direct, a sister agency under The Marketing Arm’s parent company, Omnicom Group.
Earlier, he had been an executive consultant for Brand Ops, a brand development consultancy specializing in online marketing management, and before that Morrison co-founded Internet portal developer Springbow Solutions, overseeing the firm’s brand strategy consulting work.
Ipsh was founded in 2001. The Marketing Arm bought the agency last year.
The Marketing Arm ranked No. 8 in the 2007 Promo 100 with estimated net revenue of $69 million for 2006, up an estimated 50% from 2004.
