Specialists Marketing Services Inc. has begun managing Primedia’s list portfolio this week. Eighteen data cards have been released including master files identifying families with children, donors, grandparents and subscribers by ethnic background. Individual files are available for such magazines as Soap Opera Digest and Practical Horseman, in addition to other master files. Millard Group Inc. formerly handled these files.

Inquiries for inserts heavier than one-quarter ounce will be considered.

List Compiler HomeData Acquired by Dominion Enterprises

The publishing company Dominion Enterprises has acquired HomeData Corp. and eNeighborhoods Inc., both of which had been subsidiaries of Siegent Inc. Terms have not been disclosed.

“This acquisition provides new opportunities to deliver data mining and distribution services,” said in a statement Peter Ill, senior vice president and general manager of Dominion’s Internet real estate businesses.

Data compiler HomeData provides online list count and list fulfillment services for list brokers, direct marketers and advertising agencies. Bruce Dulberg will continue to serve as HomeData’s president and CEO.

Key executives were tied up in meetings on Wednesday unavailable for further comment, according to Jennifer Butsch, spokesperson for Dominion Enterprises.

HomeData compiles of postal and telemarketing lists used for direct marketing. The other firm eNeighborhoods compiles home and neighborhood data specifically for the real estate industry.

HomeData maintains historical mortgage and homeowner databases online. It’s sourced from recorded deeds filed at more than 1,300 country courthouses nationwide. More than 55 million records are available from the last four years. These homeowners can be targeted by political affiliation, religion and ethnicity.

HomeData’s Premier Connects residential and business databases offer telephone numbers derived from five regional and 2,600 local telephone companies. This online data is updated daily and available on weekly, monthly and quarterly hotlines.

Its NewNeighbor Connects new mover database is also sourced from telephone companies. It offers more than 250,000 residential addresses on a weekly basis, which can be targeted based on home value, income, ethnicity, age, presence of children, and of course telephone numbers.

Dominion Enterprises publishes more than 500 free and paid circulation magazines in real estate, automotive, recreation and industrial markets. It operates more than 40 Web sites.
