KnowledgeBase Marketing Acquires Leopard

Database marketing firm KnowledgeBase Marketing, Dallas, TX, has acquired Leopard Inc., an integrator of Web-based marketing automation tools and technologies that drive personalized communications and advanced e-CRM programs.

With the acquisition, KnowledgeBase said that it plans to broaden its Internet offerings to clients by tapping Leopard’s ability to build large scale, high-speed, Web-enabled databases that enable clients to improve online marketing and personalization. In addition, Leopard builds transactional systems that facilitate the interchange of marketing and e-commerce information among customers, companies, suppliers and partners.

As part of the terms of the acquisition, Larry Eppard has been named chief technology officer for KnowledgeBase.
