Kerry Raises $100 Million Partially Through Direct Mail

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry announced he has raised over $100 million in the three months since the Super Tuesday primaries on March 2.

Breaking all grassroots fundraising records, 75% of the funds Kerry raised since Super Tuesday have been from grassroots fundraising: $44 million online and $31 million through direct mail and phone calls. The average grassroots contribution at www.johnkerry.com was $108; the average via direct mail and phones was approximately $70.

The Kerry Campaign raised over $20 million from grassroots fundraising in May from over 230,000 contributions. The Kerry campaign raised more than $9 million online in May and raised approximately $10 million from direct mail and phones.
