Chick-fil-A Introduces 2004 Promotional Calendar

Restaurant chain Chick-fil-A launched the seventh edition of its annual cow-themed calendar last week.

The calendars, priced at $5 each, include monthly Chick-fil-A food and beverage coupon offers. T-shirts and plush cow toys will also be offered during the promotion, which lasts through January.

The calendars can be purchased at
Chick-fil-A restaurants and online at www.chick-fil-a.com.

The cows were designed to persuade people to switch from burgers to chicken. The increasing popularity of the bovine calendars has prompted Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A to produce more than 2.5 million copies of the 2004 calendar.

“The Cow Calendar is one of the most significant marketing vehicles that Chick-fil-A has introduced in recent years,” said Steve Robinson, Chick-fil-A’s senior VP-marketing. “The calendar is basically a daily connection with Chick-fil-A. In addition to building brand awareness, the calendars also showcase the variety of the Chick-fil-A menu.”

Radio, print, online, TV ads, billboards and in-store promotions support.
