Chicago Cubs Aligns with PromoWorks

The Chicago Cubs has named PromoWorks LLC as its promotional agency for in-stadium sampling events for the 2005 season.

PromoWorks won the contract with the baseball team based on an event it hosted at its ballpark last season. The Mega-Sampling Event at Wrigley Field combined a Cubs game with mobile and stationary product sampling, scratch-and-win Cubs limited edition collector cards for fans as they entered the gates, as well as a Chicago retailer tie-in. Sampling and prize sponsors included Dentyne, Fisher Nuts, Hershey’s, Kellogg’s, Ricola, Rolaids and White Hen.

The agency, which ranked 16th in the 2004 PROMO 100, also specializes in events and in-store marketing.
