The Boston Celtics announced last week that it has entered into an e-commerce agreement with Minneapolis-based FanBuzz, provider of commerce solutions to licensed sports, entertainment, character and media-based properties.
As part of the agreement, FanBuzz’ services include Web site development, back-end fulfillment and customer care for the private-label Boston Celtics online store at www.celtics.com. Both parties are working together to develop strategic marketing initiatives, such as direct e-mail campaigns, promotions at game events and sweepstakes offers.
