Electronics retail chain Best Buy Co. Inc. has teamed up with Partsearch Technologies Inc., to launch a master catalog of spare parts for consumer electronics, major appliances, computers and cellular phones.
The two companies have signed agreements with such manufacturers as Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, Thomson, Kenwood, Pioneer, Philips, Mitsubishi, Frigidaire, Hewlett Packard, Harman International, Canon USA and others, creating a catalog of more than 10 million unique parts that technicians can specify and order.
