7 UP is coming out with specially designed cans that celebrate GRAMMY winning musicians and a school program.
Artists renditions of the GRAMMY logo will appear on six 7 UP beverages: Michael McDonald for 7 UP; John Ondrasik for Diet 7 UP; Wynonna Judd for Cherry 7 UP; Brian McKnight for Sunkist; Dave Koz for Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Randy Travis for A & W Root Beer.
7 UP is the official soft drink of the GRAMMY Awards and a sponsor of the GRAMMY Foundation’s Signature School’s Program. 7 UP has made a donation to the Signature Schools program, which recognizes public high schools that have made outstanding commitments to music education, in each of the musical artists names.
An auction on eBay last month kicked off the promotion with signed memorabilia from the artists, a VIP concert at John Ondrasik’s and Five For Fighting’s Dec. 16 concert with VIP concert seats, a meet and greet with Ondrasik, after show passes and a signed sheet of music. Consumers could also bid on a trip for two to the 2005 GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles.
